I’m not going to lie, I hate packing my lunch for work in the morning, mainly because at silly-o-clock I am uninspired, half asleep, and can’t concentrate for the life of me on what I want to snack on in six hours time. Cue The Lunchbox!
About The Lunchbox
The Lunchbox is a once-off or subscription box service – depending on your preference – that delivers 20 or 21 healthy pre-packed lunch bags to your door every month.
The Lunchbox aims to eliminate the annoying tasks of:
- pacing up and down the aisles of the supermarket each week while umming and ahhing and deciding what you fancy – or is that just me?
- getting up even earlier than you already have to, to prep your lunch every day
In addition to eliminating those two annoying tasks, The Lunchbox helps their subscribers save time and money (and who doesn’t want to save money?), while supplying them with only the best quality and healthiest products available.
What do I get?
What don’t you get? Seriously. These little brown bags are as magical and mysterious as the Rabbit Hole Alice in Wonderland falls down, and I would like to fall into these bags head first with my mouth open every day, to be honest. It’s a shame I wouldn’t fit.
Here’s the low down on what you might find in your bags:
- A mix of non-perishables, meaning all that is missing is your fave fruit and a sarmie.
- Variety like you’ve never seen before, meaning both you and your kids (if you have a little monster or two) will never, ever get bored.
What else do you need? Nothing, I tell you. Not. A. Thing.
Fussiness is something all parents deal with on a day-to-day basis, as it is a common characteristic of childhood (and adulthood, in my case). You are not guarenteed that your little ones will love every bag they open, but The Lunchbox and their trial boxes will help you introduce them to a number of new and exciting foods that they might never have tried otherwise.
How much does it cost?
There are three boxes to choose from, one for adults, kids and banters. The prices are as follows:
