Tweexy: The original nail polish bottle holder

Last week, to my delight, a Tweexy in my fave colour arrived on my desk for me to review, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts and experience with you guys! However, I have a very good feeling that before I even try it, it’s going to be one of my fave items in my beauty stash. Eeek!

I think I have managed to spill nail polish on almost every surface of our house, except for our couch – thank god. So when I heard about Tweexy, the original and only spill-proof, wearable nail polish bottle holder, I knew it would be something right up my alley.

Tweexy says that it’s “the manicure tool that you never knew you needed”, and I don’t think they could be anymore accurate. So today I am going to give this soft and flexible tool a go, and let you know exactly what I think about it.

First impressions of the Tweexy

Guys, I love brands who care about our planet. My Tweexy arrived in a small box filled with stuffing made out of shredded magazines and old leaflets, and it made me squeal with joy. Thank you Tweexy for giving a shit about our planet and not investing in other types of plastic stuffing! Much, much love.

Okay, after I removed the shredded paper ta-da, there she was, a turquoise (known as Spa Green) Tweexy in all her glory with a cute note from Natalie. I was literally overwhelmed with excitement.

The lowdown

  • Tweexy nail polish bottle holders are made 100% out of silicone
  • Any standard sized nail polish bottle will fit in a Tweexy
  • Expands and contracts to fit any size fingers comfortably without rubbing or pinching
  • The colours available include: Bonbon Pink, Spa Green and Sapphire Night.

My experience

So I took the Tweexy out of the packaging and couldn’t get over how soft it was. I chose my nail polish colour, which was Essie in Private Weekend – a white nail varnish wish specs of glitter – and followed the instructions on the back of the box, which go as follows:

  1. Gentle squeeze tabs to open the ring fingers
  2. Place on any two fingers from above
  3. Insert bottle, press down and open cap
  4. When you have finished, replace the cap, squeeze the tabs and lift off fingers

It’s that simple.

And it really was that simple! I followed the directions, the Tweexy did exactly what it was meant to, and it sat perfectly on my fingers. Yay for a product that does what the packaging says it should!

The first thing I noticed when I put the Tweexy on, was that it felt so secure on my fingers that I did not worry for one second that the nail polish bottle would fall or spill the entire time I was painting my nails. And I even tried to wiggle around a bit – hoorah, success!

I am giving Tweexy a 10/10, and can tell you in all honesty that this is a product that I would invest in not only for myself, but for the likes of my sister (a beauty therapist). It’s a winner, guys. I need one, you need one, we all need one.

You can buy your very own Tweexy for R225 by emailing Natalie at Do it! You won’t regret it, I promise.

I have uploaded a little video to my Instagram account, so check it out!

Have you bought your own Tweexy? I would love to hear about your experience, so leave me a comment down below.

This looks so nifty. Unfortunately I don’t paint my nails often enough to validate buying it.

Clever product and something I could give to my girls to use to reduce the mess of kids painting nails 🙂

I would never consider buying anything like that in million years but after reading this post, it does make sense and it seems very handy! Thanks for sharing x
